Janus consumers create Chrismas cards for the community

On April 7, Virginia Hall bestowed upon Janus Developmental Services, Inc. a very generous gift exemplifying a quiet grace in her charitable giving. The origins of her gift stem from her witnessing daily services Janus provided to the family of a neighbor. She saw the difference Janus made to this individual's quality of life and never forgot this service.
Janus' simple expression of service to others led Hall to include Janus as a beneficiary to her estate and wit this, demonstrated the kindness of strangers. The benefit she has provided Janus is lasting and, in her name, with the spirit of her intentions, Janus can continue to enhance the quality of life of others.
Community Bank guided her giving through administration of her estate, providing a full range of trust services in a friendly and familiar environment. Janus Developmental Services, Inc. is offering for sale some extraordinary Christmas Cards for $1per card, with all proceeds going to Janus programs. A variety of cards are available to accommodate different desires and can be sold individually or bundled into packs and accompanied with ribbon at no additional cost.
Consumers at Janus diligently worked on-site to create unique and lovely cards to celebrate the season.
These cards are crafted with the care inspired by the meaning of the holidays, a meaning of family, friends, and a spirit of community.
The community is invited to a festive atmosphere of holiday decorations and refreshments while helping Janus support its consumers at the Christmas Card Open House from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the facility, 1555 Westfield Rd. in Noblesville.
